Shuteye extends from Isolotto’s year-long project We Walked the Earth, a dramatic, immersive installation featuring a centaur family. This work debuted at the Danish Pavilion during the Venice Biennale in 2022.

While We Walked the Earth staged a pre-existing mythology in a realistic setting, Shuteye introduces a new central figure – a reverse centaur, if you will – serving as the cornerstone of an evolving mythology in an alternate timeline.

On October 12 please join us in the desert for the premiere of Isolotto’s new work Shuteye.
